Andrew's is seeking a growth-minded Chief Financial Officer to serve as the financial integrity leader of the business. The CFO serves as the financial leader for the company, responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, and payroll operations. This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on ownership of daily controllership and financial operations. The CFO will partner closely with the Company President, and Group Finance team to ensure the business meets its financial goals, maintains strong financial discipline, and supports scalable growth. This role oversees the integrity of financial reporting, ensures compliance with US GAAP, and drives operational efficiency across accounting and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership
  • Serve as a key business partner to the Company President, providing financial insight and analysis to drive growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute the annual budget, forecast, and long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide timely, accurate monthly and quarterly reporting with variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to assess project performance, pricing strategies, and service profitability.
  • Support capital investment decisions with sound financial modeling and ROI analysis.
  • Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives to maximize profitability.
  • Support KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Accounting & Controllership
  • Oversee all accounting & financial reporting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies.
  • Manage audits and tax reporting in collaboration with Astra Finance and external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures.
Finance Operations & Cash Management
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity to support ongoing operations and project funding.
  • Oversee working capital management including timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing, benefits accounting, and related reporting.
Operational & Project Finance
  • Support project managers and service leaders with financial visibility into job costs, margins, and performance.
  • Ensure accurate application of percentage-of-completion accounting and job cost controls.
  • Provide financial guidance on service contracts, maintenance agreements, and project bids.
  • Drive efficiency in field operations through cost tracking and performance analytics.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and mentor accounting and finance team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and Astra Finance.
  • Develop the finance team's capabilities through training and coaching.
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and implement improvements to streamline accounting and reporting.
  • Support ongoing system integrations and ERP optimization
  • Ensure scalability of financial systems to accommodate business growth.
Qualifications

  • Experience with COINS, Sage Intacct, and Workday preferred.

Andrew's determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Base pay for this position ranges from $200,000- $225,000, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus on top. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
