What We Offer

Sign on Bonus: Up to $100,000; relocation bonus available

Practice: 8 ORs with orthopedics, ENT, general, GYN, no heads/hearts

Location: Rowan Medical Center - Salisbury, NC; At 266 beds, Rowan is Novant's 4th largest hospital and has been serving the area since 1936. Salisbury is located less than an hour from both Charlotte and Winston Salem in Rowan County. Salisbury offers the perfect mix of quiet countryside and growing small city. Nearby High Rock Lake, NC's 2nd largest lake, is great for those that love the outdoors.

As a CRNA at Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center, you'll be trusted to deliver expert, independent anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures and patient needs. What You'll Do

  • Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populations
  • Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
  • Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status
  • Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges
  • Float between sites based on staffing needs and patient volume

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Anesthesia
  • Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
  • RN and CRNA licensure in North Carolina (or compact state)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (per policy)
  • Strong decision-making and clinical judgment
  • Ability to adapt across different specialties and patient populations
  • New grads welcome - orientation and preceptorship provided
  • Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment
  • Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient age
  • Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians
