  • Coordinate the introduction and ramp-up of new productions with project teams
  • Design and deliver operator training for new products or production lines

Full Job Description
Job Title: Cell Manager

Division: Operations

Location: Florence KY Manufacturing

Reports To: UP Director

What You Will Learn:

You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving short-term performance, and leading continuous improvement workshops. Implementing operational excellence methodologies across the department in line with global standards:

  • Guarantees efficient and compliant execution of packaging & processing operations, with a focus on safety, product quality, sustainability and productivity
  • Identifies through data and observations performance gaps (losses analysis) : compliance with process, OEE, capability and quality standards
  • Ensures the consistency of the completion and effectiveness of previous day's and today's actions, as well as the prioritization of them
  • Leads improvement projects derived from deviations in performance or cost.
  • Applies and ensure the execution of lean tools (SMED, 5S, QRQC, Six Sigma,...)
  • Facilitates action plans, tracks results, and ensures sustainability
  • Drafts and formalizes machine/process modification requests when issues are beyond the scope of the production team's autonomy (expert intervention is required)
  • Interfaces with project teams when expert/third party intervention is required
  • Makes sure that the level 1 routine are being held with all the right data, and that lead to the right level of action
  • Provides the level 2 & 3 routine with the elements that require the intervention of the management and/or project teams


You will be responsible for the successful introduction, integration, and ramp-up of new productions, after designing the appropriate production processes:

  • Ensures the right operational standards and methods are in place and well applied
  • Ensures that the ramp-up is properly coordinated with the project team
  • Designs, documents, and delivers operator training for new products/production lines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with major in technical field or Management required, Engineering degree preferred;
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing management role or like industry;
  • Computer Skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical Analysis;
  • Conscientious, positive attitude, reliable, responsible and flexible;
  • Be self-motivated and work independently as well as in a team setting;
  • Organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to meet time commitments;
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to follow procedures
