Position Overview
Join a flatbed account designed for experienced steel haulers who want consistent freight, strong weekly earnings, and dependable weekend home time. Drivers haul dedicated stainless-steel freight from a customer near Calvert, Alabama before moving available backhaul freight that helps position the truck for the next outbound load.
Equipment & Trailer
You'll operate an assigned newer-model Kenworth T680 paired with a 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailer equipped with 12 winches, straps, and two lightweight six-foot drop tarps. Drivers stay with the same trailer throughout each trip.

The Freight
Outbound loads include smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Approximately 75% of loads require tarping using lightweight drop tarps that are easier to manage than traditional flatbed tarps. Freight is primarily live loaded and live unloaded, and tarp pay is included within the account's overall compensation program.
Backhaul freight helps reduce unnecessary empty miles while supporting productive weekly schedules.
Compensation & Benefits
Drivers earn $2,000 to $2,100 per week. Qualified drivers are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Paid orientation is held Monday through Thursday with $100 per day in orientation pay. Hotel accommodations, meals, and travel arrangements are provided.

Driver Qualifications
Valid CDL-A license required
Minimum one year of OTR experience within the last five years
Minimum six months of flatbed experience
Steel-hauling experience required
Current coil-hauling certification required
Experience with tarping and load securement required
Acceptable driving record required
