We are looking for a CBT Therapist to join our team! As a CBT Therapist you will join network of organizations working together to provide individuals who are experiencing depression and/or anxiety (including obsessive-compulsive concerns and post-traumatic stress) with access to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The purpose of this position is to deliver structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for people living in the community. Status: Full-time contract until February 2028, 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate may be required to work some evenings. This posting is for an active vacancy. Base Salary: $75,509.31 - $89,160.03 annually (Candidate qualifications will be considered when determining the starting salary). Location: This position is based out of our office at 1 Elizabeth Street Suite L-2 Orangeville, Ontario. Due to the nature of the program, this role is on-site and community based. What you will do - Conduct assessments (e.g., Diagnostic Assessment Research Tool, PHQ-9, GAD-7 and other diagnostic specific assessments) to identify symptoms experienced by clients and inform) and monitor individualized treatment plans. The program uses measurement-based care. - Provide individual and group protocol-based structured psychotherapy, including CBT and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for posttraumatic stress, in adherence with the OSP Clinical Model and Training guidelines to clients with mood, anxiety, concurrent disorders and trauma experiences. - Plan, organize and co-facilitate CBT treatment groups, in adherence with the OSP Clinical Model and Training guidelines. - Participate in regular clinical consultation and related activities in adherence with fidelity monitoring requirements and program guidelines (e.g., submit recordings of sessions for adherence ratings) - Collaborate with counselling Community of Practice in the provision of care and support counselling wait volumes and/or organizational need across all regions covered by CMHA PD and OSP network. - Contact with primary care provider to report clients service initiation and communicate at regular intervals of interventions and care plans including at service completion. - Maintain professional documentation within 24 hours of client contact, including assessments, progress notes and all relevant personal health information in respective portals and client records management systems as required by CMHA PD policy and procedure. - Work effectively and collaboratively within an interprofessional multidisciplinary team and ensure an effective stepped care approach to service is achieved. - Participate in agency and community meetings, committees and work groups as requested by manager. What you need to join our team - Must be registered in the province of Ontario as a member in good standing with an appropriate regulatory college and eligible to perform psychotherapy as a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, Registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse - University Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing) Masters level is an asset. - Minimum 1-year experience in the mental health and addictions sector with a focus on assessment, brief interventions and short term support. - Expertise in community mental health and/or community based human services - Experience with a minimum of 2 of the following trainings or willingness to train up in 6 months: - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - Trauma Informed Care - Virtual Care - Interprofessional Multidisciplinary Teams - Learn and understand community mental health and human service networks - Understand the experiences and needs of the mental health and addictions populations - Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to approach, listen, build trust, and communicate across diverse cultures and intersectionality.
