Position Title: Catering Executive Chef - Corporate Dining (NYC)

Salary: $115,000-$120,000/ Yr

Other Forms of Compensation: Benefits + Bonus Eligible Plan

Job Summary:

As the Catering Executive Chef, you will lead all culinary operations for an upscale law firm in Hudson Yards, NYC. This role supports a robust and active events program and will help deliver exceptional catering experiences for premier clients, executive meetings, conferences, and special events. You will oversee menu development, food production, event execution, and service excellence while ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, safety, and hospitality.

In this role, you will manage and develop a talented culinary team, collaborate closely with event planning and operations partners, and drive innovative catering solutions that exceed client expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards, controlling food and labor costs, and ensuring flawless execution across a dynamic, fast-paced conference and catering environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
  • Plans and creates all menus
  • Purchases and manages inventory
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • At least three to five years of culinary management experience in a high-volume setting required
  • High-volume production and catering experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully execute events of varying sizes and complexity, from intimate executive meetings to large-scale conferences and special events
  • Previous experience managing cost controls
  • Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company
