Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Procurement Manager

In this role you will play a critical strategic role in supporting development, implementation, and optimization of regional and global sourcing strategies. This position works closely with regional and global category leaders and key stakeholders to drive procurement excellence. You will be responsible for managing the full supplier lifecycle from onboarding and contract negotiation to evaluation and performance reporting.

The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power in Senatobia, MS.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with regional and global category leaders to develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Create and maintain local contract amendments and frame agreements; conduct periodic reviews to ensure competitive terms and conditions
  • Conduct benchmark studies to support sourcing initiatives and category decisions
  • Lead regional sourcing initiatives within assigned categories and supplier spend thresholds
  • Negotiate agreements with key suppliers; manage price list updates and renewal cycles
  • Onboard new suppliers in coordination with local procurement teams; conduct regular supplier evaluations and performance reporting to stakeholders
  • Communicate sourcing plans, supplier insights, and category performance across internal teams and business units to support cross-functional alignment


Job Qualifications
  • BS degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant fields.
  • 5 years plus experience in procurement working experience at a minimum of one of these categories: thermoplastic, thermoset plastic, metal, and copper electrical components experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP AMSAP, SAP Torque, PowerBI, Microsoft Office and the Electrification market
  • Data analytics experience is a plus
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
