Job Description:

Provides procurement solutions expertise, using Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) to deliver maximum value for indirect goods & services. This position serves as the Category Buyer for Indirect Purchasing and provides the business-unit-facing function for the GFSD Indirect Procurement organization.

What You Will Do:

• This role is responsible and accountable for the development, communication, and implementation of a global, regional, and local sourcing strategies.
• Responsible for developing, collaborating, and managing policies, agreements, country source catalogs, and special purchasing programs.
• Accountable for the liaison with the corresponding Category-based Buyers for strategic and collaborative suppliers.
• Developing, managing and executing the category strategy managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.
• Recognizing the potential for cost decreases, inventory reductions and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
• Acting as the liaison between the organization and the supplier to communicate information explicitly, while considering production demands and suppliers' conditions.
• Documenting the suppliers' performance on time sensitiveness and production; maintains a strong relationship with suppliers.

What You Have:

• Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Data Analytics: Knowledge of AI prompting techniques and data analytics processes, including data inspection, cleansing, transformation, and modeling, with the ability to uncover insights, draw logical conclusions, and support informed decision-making.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Knowledge of supplier relationship management concept and strategies; ability to address critical issues to meet supplier needs and maintain engaged, partnering relationship with suppliers.

• Strategic Sourcing: Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, technologies and processes; ability to analyze, improve and re-evaluate organizational procurement process continuously.
• Experience developing, managing and executing category strategies, policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.
• Experience acting as the liaison between the organization and suppliers while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
