Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to own digital capability delivery of the transformation of spend forecasting and project visibility as part of the CAT 2.0 agenda, reinventing how Commercial plans, tracks, and makes decisions.

Through the delivery of integrated Risk and Forecasting Capability and Project Control Towers by April 2028, the role will drive faster and more automated decision-support within the Commercial team, which in turn will enhance the quality and timeliness of the information provided to the Management Team and Finance partners for analysis and cross-functional alignment.

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Transformation Delivery
  • Define and deliver the Price Risk & Project Control Tower capability roadmap aligned to CAT 2.0
  • While the business 'owns' the outcomes of the program, this role will deliver prioritized capabilities that transform spend forecasting, financial planning visibility, project tracking, and the performance management of the Commercial function
  • Leads the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of the Commercial Project Control Tower, establishing a unified digital 'cockpit' to monitor, govern, and orchestrate the portfolio of all key initiatives across the Commercial function.
  • Own measurable value realization across forecast accuracy, execution speed, visibility, and decision quality
  • Drive selection, design, and deployment of forecasting, reporting, and control tower solutions aligned with Pet Nutrition digital strategy


2. Business Integration
  • Partner with Commercial, Supply, and Finance teams to embed price risk and control tower capabilities into core planning and performance processes
  • In partnership with stakeholders, track and deliver measurable value (forecast accuracy, alignment, decision speed, risk visibility)
  • Enable cross-functional KPI standardization and planning alignment


3. Digital / Control Tower Capability Build
  • Integrates multi-dimensional tracking capabilities into the Control Tower to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility and predictive insights across critical business drivers such as value realization, material innovation, formula/packaging renovation, supplier performance management (SPM), and supplier risk remediatio
  • Ensure integration with enterprise data platforms, planning systems, reporting environments, and digital architecture
  • Establish governance for data models, KPIs, reporting standards, forecasting logic, and workflow orchestration
  • Manage third-party vendors, analytics platforms, and system integrators including contracting and deliverables sign-off


4. Program Leadership
  • Apply program and project management best practices including budget, planning, scope, governance, and reporting
  • Oversee vendors and SI partners for strategy and delivery of control tower capabilities
  • Accountable for delivery of Price Risk & Control Tower roadmap through April 2028


5. Scale & Sustain
  • Ensure global scalability, capability building, and sustainability of control tower solutions
  • Lead transition from project delivery to BAU product/service ownership model
  • Drive adoption of standardized KPIs and data-driven decision-making across Commercia


What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Advanced professional credentials such as PMP, Prince 2, SAFe, Agile, etc
  • Information Technology (IT) and managing digital projects, with a proven record of accomplishment of success in managing projects.
  • Experience managing complex IT programs and capabilities with proven business partnering abilities while keeping in mind broader strategy/goals.
  • Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional and Global/Regional teams with strong stakeholder management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different countries and proven ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Experienced in identifying and selecting digital solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Strong experience in financial analytics, financial planning, or financial reporting platforms preferred
