Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to lead a time-bound transformation (through April 2028) as part of the CAT 2.0 agenda to reinvent the way Commercial operates through AI. The role will own the digital design, build, and scale AI-driven capabilities that unlock greater automation, smarter decision-support, and cross-category synergies.

By embedding diverse AI capabilities-including predictive modeling, generative applications, and intelligent decision-support-into core workflows, the role will enable the Pet Nutrition commercial community to significantly optimize efficiency and elevate strategic decision-making.

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Transformation Delivery
  • Define and deliver the projects enabling the AI capability roadmap aligned to CAT 2.0
  • While the business 'owns' the outcomes of the program, this role will deliver prioritized AI use cases that transform the commercial process
  • Own measurable value realization (cost, speed, decision quality)
  • Drive selection, design, and deployment of AI and advanced analytics solutions aligned with Pet Nutrition digital strategy


2. Business Integration
  • Partner with Commercial leads and teams to embed AI into the core commercial processes
  • In Partnership with business partners and program leadership, track and deliver measurable value (cost optimization, efficiency, decision speed improvements)


3. Digital / AI Capability Build
  • Ensure integration with enterprise data platforms, supplier systems, and digital architecture
  • Navigate AI governance (data, security, lifecycle)
  • Manage third-party vendors, AI partners, and system integrators including contracting and deliverables sign-off


4. Program Leadership
  • Apply program and project management best practices including budget, planning, scope, and reporting
  • Oversee vendors, SI partners for strategy and delivery of the solutions
  • Accountable for delivery of AI Commercial capabilities and roadmap through April 2028


5. Scale & Sustain
  • Ensures global scalability, capability building and sustainability of solutions
  • Leads transition from project delivery to BAU product/service ownership model


What are we looking for
  • Bachelor's degree: Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Advanced professional credentials such as PMP, Prince 2, SAFe, Agile, etc
  • Information Technology (IT) and managing digital projects, with a proven record of accomplishment of success in managing projects.
  • Experience managing complex IT programs and capabilities with proven business partnering abilities while keeping in mind broader strategy/goals.
  • Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional and Global/Regional teams with strong stakeholder management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different countries and proven ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Experienced in identifying and selecting digital solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Experience in advanced analytics, AI supporting data architecture, LLMs, and GenAI transformation preferred
