About This Position

The Caregiver Belonging Partner is a highly influential, enterprise-facing role responsible for shaping and advancing ChristianaCare’s belonging strategy through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and broader workforce communities. This role maintains a visible presence across ChristianaCare locations to build relationships, engage caregivers, and strengthen connection across the enterprise.

This role elevates ERGs to strategic drivers of workforce outcomes and organizational culture across a 15,000+ caregiver system. This position will also serve as a connector between caregivers, leadership, and business strategy, translating community insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen the caregiver lifecycle experience.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a multi-year ERG and workforce community strategy aligned to organizational priorities (talent, retention, engagement, brand).
  • Position ERGs as strategic partners in shaping the caregiver experience—not just affinity groups.
  • Benchmark external best practices and introduce innovative models.
  • Translate caregiver sentiment into business insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations for programming and ERG engagement by analyzing caregiver participation trends, engagement survey results, feedback from listening sessions and forums, workforce demographics, and business priorities to identify opportunities, measure impact, and guide meaningful, inclusive programming across the enterprise.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, including charters, bylaws, leadership terms, and standards.
  • Leverage ERGs and communities to enhance the candidate & caregiver experiences
  • Align ERGs with recruitment, employer brand, and community engagement strategies.
  • Drive first-year caregiver belonging by leveraging the ERG program and insights to strengthen onboarding, integration, and retention in partnership with the human resources department.
  • Inform the building of external partnerships that strengthen talent pipelines and brand visibility.
  • Manage and allocate ERG resources strategically and on time.
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence across all ChristianaCare locations to engage caregivers, support ERG and workforce community activities, and strengthen connection across the enterprise.

Minimum education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement or Inclusion and Belonging.
  • Minimum or 2-5 years of direct ERG experience, either leading an ERG or managing an ERG program required.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and executive sponsors required.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion or Belonging certification required within 12-months of hire date.

Annual Compensation Range $73,611.20 - $117,790.40

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
