THE POSITION: Career Consulting Analyst

The first step in your career with Mercer's Career business is as a Consulting Analyst. Consulting Analysts work with a broad range of clients and industries, participating as a member of project teams to diagnose issues and design strategic solutions.

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analytical support to senior consultants and project teams
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends
  • Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights that will develop into career strategies and solutions
  • Perform financial analyses of industry sectors and client peer groups
  • Collaborate with project team on most effective ways to structure analyses and present information to meet client objectives
  • Prepare client presentations to be presented to boards of directors, senior executives, and HR leaders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, math, accounting, or HR preferred
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

The applicable base salary range for this role is $59,000 to $118,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
