Job DescriptionThe Care Services Director manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
What will I do every day?
- Complete accurate and regular resident assessments
- Determine the appropriate level of care
- Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
- Supervise and administer all resident medications
- Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
- Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
- Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
- Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing
- Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
- Hire and train care team associates
- Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
What will I need to be successful in this role?
- Registered Nurse required, BS in human services, psychology, nursing, or related field and two years experience or Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) preferred or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred with three to five years supervisory experience in multiple departments.
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in multiple departments
- BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
- Experience working with seniors
Special Requirements/Certifications:
- Licensed as RN
- Experienced working with Microsoft Office and with Assisted Living software programs
- CPR Certified
- First Aid Certified
- Universal Precautions trained
- Title 22 knowledge
