- Practice Detail: We are seeking an experienced, BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a group of 5 established surgeons performing over 1200 adult cardiac cases annually.

What You Will DoAscension St. Vincent is actively seeking a board certified Cardiac Surgeon to join our team in the Indianapolis Indiana location. Responsibilities include all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, with an emphasis on cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.Highlights:- Join our team of 5 established surgeons, 3 of which participate in heart transplant surgery.
- On-call schedules are rotated evenly amongst the group
- 1:4 for transplant call
- 1:6 for primary surgical call

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
