Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Technologist II is responsible for equipment operation, quality assurance, performing radiographic test. Sets up and assists with cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsible for inventory of equipment and supplies for the cath lab. Maintains statistical and financial data for the cath lab. Assures lab is appropriately staffed by technologists including evening and weekends. Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of health care. Consistently demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Two years cardiac catheterization experience required

Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology education program.

Pediatric experience preffered.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:

AS or BS Degree in Radiology preferred.

Current BCLS card

Current ARRT certification

Current CRT certification with CA State Dept. of Health.

Current Fluoroscopy Permit with CA State Dept. of Health

Pay Scale Information

USD $81,120.00 - USD $108,160.00
