Insight Global is looking for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support a BEST regional hospital in Washington, DC. The primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
Monitors patient condition, assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, and operates specialized equipment including physiological monitors, radiography systems, IVUS, defibrillators, and balloon pumps.
Recognizes cardiac dysrhythmias, performs scrub roles, and documents patient responses.
Educates patients and families, and supports orientation of new staff.
Adapts to changing priorities and maintains compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Pay Range: $37.00 - $55.00
$25,000 sign on bonus --> first payment after 6 months, second payment after 1 year with a 2 year commitment
Up to $3,000 relocation bonus based on distance
$100 / month --> given for transportation
Shift: Dayshift: M-F 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Night and Weekend On-Call:
Rotates between staff
45 minutes response time
Typically 1 day during the week, 1 weekend a month
§ Weekday Night --> 5pm-6:30am
§ Weekend --> 6:30 am - 6:30 am
On-Call $:
On-call --> 15/hr
Call back --> time and half
Holidays:
Rotating schedule between the staff
Tries to not schedule for repeat holidays YOY

Required Skills & ExperienceEducation:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA), or equivalent years of relevant experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab.
Experience in hospitals performing Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI).
Structural heart procedure experience including:
Mitra Clip procedures
Transcatheter Valve Replacement (TAVR/TMVR)
Certifications:
Must hold a current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
