Work you'll do

As a Manager on the Capital Projects team, you will be responsible for:
  • Advising clients on capital project delivery and execution across the project lifecycle, including cost and schedule assurance, risk analysis and avoidance, contracting and procurement, data analytics, and project governance
  • Leading teams and workstreams to support project delivery and overall engagement success
  • Collaborating with client stakeholders to gather and analyze information, develop solutions, and communicate recommendations
  • Providing coaching, oversight, and support to delivery teams and staff
  • Leading or supporting proposal development, client relationship development, and business development activities
  • Supporting recruitment, retention, and staffing efforts for the practice

The team

Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team are trusted advisors to clients in managing physical assets throughout their lifecycle. We help them unlock value from their real estate portfolios and functions by developing strategies, optimizing operating models and organizational design, and leveraging technology enablement.

Qualifications required:
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management
  • 6+ years of architecture, engineering, or construction experience
  • Experience with project controls and scheduling using Primavera P6
  • Experience working on major construction projects, including reviewing and analyzing construction documents
  • Experience in business development, strategic planning, and managing client relationships
  • Experience supervising, training, and developing staff on client requirements as well as assessing staff performance
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
  • MBA or a Master's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or project management
  • Professional certifications such as PE, ASA, PMP, CFA, CFE, CCE, or CPA
  • Experience using Project Management tools, including Oracle Unifier, Procore, Hexagon Ecosys, Kahua, Primavera P6, and Power BI
  • Experience in a professional services firm
  • International project or client engagement experience
  • Multi-lingual
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
