Qualifications

• 5-10 years of capital projects experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in automotive or heavy equipment fields.
• Proficient in technical documentation and Statement of Work (SOW) creation.
• Skilled in evaluating vendor bids and finalizing concepts for fixtures and process improvements.
• Experience utilizing 3-D software such as Teamcenter, Creo, or ProE; familiar with AutoCAD and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proven problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with significant relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to define project objectives and gather critical inputs.
• Create detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) outlining functional and technical requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
• Review SOWs with teams to ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and compliance before vendor release.
• Manage external supplier inquiries and quotation processes, providing clarification as needed.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for technical feasibility and alignment with plant standards.
• Finalize project concepts, lead testing and validation, and ensure deployment is successful.
• Negotiate with vendors for cost optimizations and technical adjustments as necessary.
