About the RoleX/Celerant Consulting is seeking a full-time Consultant to join our team on a project in British Columbia starting in August 2026. This role will be responsible for analyzing the capital asset program for an industrial construction company and making recommendations including a business case, then implementing the agreed improvements. Experience in capital equipment management, equipment maintenance/reliability and management consulting in an industrial construction environment are MUST HAVES. Responsibilities- Lead the analysis of a capital equipment program, including life cycle management for a heavy industrial construction company.
- Develop a business case and implementation plan.
- Work side by side with clients to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.
Qualifications- 10 years of experience in Operations Management Consulting, engineering, managing capital equipment.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in business, civil engineering, or other related fields.
Required Skills- Demonstrated experience coaching supervisors in a field environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, must be able to pass X/Celerant's skills assessment in PPT and XLS showing proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, follow safety protocol exactly, and prioritize duties effectively.
- Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship. 100% travel required each week.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to see, hear, walk through industrial sites with occasional stairs wearing PPE. Must comply 100% with site safety requirements.
Preferred SkillsExperience in data analysis, project management, and/or supply chain management is a plus. Demonstrated interest and understanding of operations strategy.
CompensationContractor rate is competitive and will be finalized after interviews and discussions, based on experience. Expenses are also reimbursed.
