In this critical role, you will be the Software Capability Lead, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering within the roadmap for the Common Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (CISR) product line. You will act as the voice of the customer and business stakeholders, ensuring that the program continues to evolve to meet changing business needs within an Agile framework.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Capability Lead, your responsibilities will include:
• Lead a group of software development teams, providing technical guidance and problem solving in progression of the development roadmap
• Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for the CISR program
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams, including Systems Engineering, product management, design, software development, and SI&T to identify and prioritize project milestones
• Develop and manage technical project plans and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project delivery
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, and ensure that solutions meet their needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, product management, and other engineering teams
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Work with other Product Owners to ensure smooth hand-off between teams and understanding of cross-team impacts
• Engage with leadership to report status and escalate risks/issues to drive to a quick resolution
• ** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or STEM field, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Documented experience with software projects
Desired skills
• Experience in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Lead, or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering "V" process
• Experience with customer requirements and the software development lifecycle
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with the CISR baseline or similar products
• Experience working in a classified environment
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
