Full Job Description
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for a Campus Sourcer to join our Recruiting team in NYC. In this role you will focus on sourcing the strongest technical talent at top universities to ensure HRT continuously attracts exceptional talent. You will own the top of our campus funnel by mapping where the best emerging STEM students come from, building meaningful relationships on campus, and planning and hosting campus events to build our pipelines from the bottom up.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify exceptional STEM talent
  • Cultivate relationships with and engage high-potential students through proactive outreach, personalized communication, and ongoing relationship management
  • Map university ecosystems to identify emerging talent pools, influential faculty, student organizations, and technical communities
  • Build and maintain relationships with professors, career centers, student leaders, and campus organizations to strengthen HRT's presence and talent pipeline
  • Plan, coordinate, and represent HRT at campus events, conferences, and on campus programming to strengthen HRT's presence and talent pipeline.
  • Drive process improvements across campus recruiting operations. "Make it Better" is one of HRT's core values. You will identify opportunities to streamline recruiting workflows, improve the candidate experience, and enhance pipeline management and academic engagement while serving as a trusted point of contact for HRT.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sourcing or full lifecycle recruiting, with real exposure to hiring technical talent in technology or quantitative finance
  • A proven track record of building and executing sourcing strategies that surface hard to find campus or early career candidates
  • Familiarity with the technical talent landscape, including top computer science, mathematics, statistics, and engineering programs, competitive programming communities, and research communities
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with universities, faculty, career centers, and student organizations
  • Strong proficiency with ATS and CRM platforms, plus comfort using analytics and reporting tools to drive decisions
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple pipelines and candidate relationships at once
  • Collaborative, thoughtful judgment and a strong interest in contributing to a close-knit, supportive team

The estimated base salary range for this position is 140,000 to 180,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
