The Opportunity:

As a modeling and simulation (M&S) engineer, you know leading-edge simulation frameworks, campaign analysis tools, and mission-level modeling are critical to national defense. At Booz Allen, you can use your engineering expertise to help develop next-generation Air Force capabilities. We need your skills in mission and campaign-level modeling, advanced simulation tools, and analytic methodologies to help create innovative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.

As an M&S engineer supporting Air Force customers, you'll evaluate mission and campaign models, perform analytic assessments, and improve the design and integration of simulation-driven insights for complex defense systems. Your experience across the M&S pyramid, from engineering-level models through mission and campaign analysis, along with expertise in tools like AFSIM and STORM, is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.

In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing advanced M&S analyses that will help transform and define the Air Force of the future. You'll have the opportunity to learn and engage from across the enterprise to help deliver world-class solutions to conduct mission-to-campaign analyses, assess military utility of future capabilities, evaluate operational concepts, and support data-driven decision-making. Your engineering knowledge will help the U.S. Air Force expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and enhance warfighter effectiveness.

You Have:
  • Experience with M&S in a professional or educational environment, including mission-level and campaign-level analysis using tools such as AFSIM and STORM
  • Knowledge of the M&S pyramid, including engineering, mission, and campaign-level modeling concepts, and USAF CONOPS
  • Ability to independently design, execute, and analyze mission-to-campaign modeling efforts and military utility assessments
  • Ability to develop code in object-oriented program languages such as Python or C++, to support modeling, simulation, and data analysis efforts
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or other DoD operational or strategic analysis organizations
  • Knowledge of advanced analytic methods, simulation frameworks, and operational analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of NGTS
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical results to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related field

Clearance:
