Full Job Description
Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award.

We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and strategic Campaign Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of public health communication campaigns. This role will focus on developing and managing multi-channel campaigns that raise awareness, educate the public, and drive behavior change around critical health issues. The Campaign Manager shall be experienced managing a large, multi-task communications campaign contract, including schedule, budget, and execution, with a particular focus on quality, outcomes, and deadlines. Additionally, a firm understanding of health communications and health behavior change campaigns is required.

Location

Hybrid in the Washington, DC area with commute as needed to client and ICF offices. Required travel to Atlanta, GA area for meetings and presentations when needed.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop complex advertising campaigns including, but not limited to, overseeing formative research activities, developing and implementing communication and marketing plans, producing a variety of communications products for different audiences, strategically engaging partners, coordinating the placement of paid and donated media, providing technical assistance support, and conducting digital and social media activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define goals, key messages, and target audiences.
  • Conduct market research and audience segmentation to inform campaign development.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and workflows to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Analyze campaign metrics, generate reports, and optimize based on data insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with public health organizations, media outlets, community groups, and influencers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for partners and ensure alignment across campaign goals.


Basic Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for the position)
  • Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of campaign management experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing large (> $10-50MM Annually) programs


Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications
  • Master's degree in communications, public health, social sciences, or associated disciplines a plus Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar systems, as well as SharePoint
  • Experience with HHS and/or CDC programs
  • Experience with health promotion campaigns
  • Experience with private and public marketing programs highly preferred.
  • Prior award-winning campaign experience a plus
  • Experience with chronic disease marketing and communications preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar systems, as well as SharePoint

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$118,807.00 - $201,971.00
