Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience programming in Python.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
- 2 years of experience in the calibration and validation of the camera actuator at the component, module and system levels.
- Experience with actuator driving and sensing technologies.
- Experience with camera contract manufacturers and in vendor management.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the camera actuator control system's calibration and validation strategies from the component to system level.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define relevant figures of merits and to assess their user impact for both production and new technology cameras.
- Formulate and validate new metrology, taking into account the factory/lab capability and throughput. Write clear documentation for engineering and test requirements.
- Collaborate with the vendors to understand their current capabilities and drive them for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct factory implementation of tests and calibrations, thoroughly reviewing the factory data.
- Propose meaningful spec limits, taking into account assembly tolerance and metrology limitations.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
