Full Job Description
We are looking for an Engine Calibration Engineer to report to the Engine Calibration Team Lead and help us develop the most innovative vehicles. In this role, you will work on exciting projects that directly contribute to the development of recreational vehicles. You will apply your theoretical knowledge to practical applications related to engine systems.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
  • Be responsible for 4-stroke engine calibration projects, including technical aspects as well as management and coordination;
  • Develop engine injection system settings with the goals of optimizing emissions, fuel economy, performance, and driving quality, while taking project constraints (cost, integration, etc.) into account;
  • Collaborate on the development of powertrain control software;
  • Coordinate and participate in optimization testing on a roller dynamometer, engine dynamometer, and test track;
  • Work on diagnosing system failure modes and vehicle responses;
  • Ensure that vehicles meet the required objectives;
  • Determine calibration methodologies aimed at reducing development time and increasing engine operational robustness.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in mechanical engineering, physics, science, thermodynamics, mechatronics, automation, or robotics;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in internal combustion engine development in an industrial setting;
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken). English is required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or with English-speaking counterparts on a daily basis;
  • Advanced knowledge of engine control strategies (emissions reduction, performance, reliability, drivability, etc.) and/or transmission systems;
  • Staying up-to-date on new technologies in the field of engines and vehicles;
  • A dynamic individual motivated by new challenges;
