Responsibilities

  • Support the Industrial Design Team with various design services.
  • Develop and refine 3D CAD models in Alias, focusing on class-A surfaces.
  • Ensure modeled surfaces meet both client and industry quality standards.
  • Design part interfaces, focusing on craftsmanship and aesthetic alignment.
  • Create physical models for concept verification and color/material/finish (CMF) checks.
  • Deliver production-quality class-A surfaces for multiple vehicle programs across both interior and exterior components.
  • Modify existing OEM vehicle designs to integrate sensor modules.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Experience in Design, Digital and physical modeling and 3d visualization related to Automotive Interior & Exterior parts 3D CAD development in alias (class-A surfaces) Catia V6, Enovia PLM

Roles & Responsibilities - Support the Client Industrial Design Team in various design services, digital and physical modelling and 3D visualization. - 3D CAD development in alias (class-A surfaces) - Model a-surfaces to meet Clients & industry standard surface quality requirements - Design surfaces & part interfaces to meet craftsmanship requirements; gap & flush - Physical model development for early design concept & CMF verification - Deliver production a-class surfaces across Client vehicle programs throughout development: 1. Interior: Center console, headliner & headliner instrument panels, dash & instrument panel, door cards, door sills, trunk 2. Exterior: sensor pod covers, sensors, modifications to OEM vehicle to integrate the sensor modules

Generic Managerial Skills: Good written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills

Salary Range: $90,000-$113,000 a year
