Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in CAD detailing, specifically in Piping systems
• Strong understanding of piping plans and specifications
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with preference for Evolve Mechanical
• Experience using Bluebeam for document management
• Demonstrated excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Character traits: loyal, honest, positive, and driven

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D Piping BIM models and shop drawings accurately based on contract drawings
• Develop shop drawings that include sections, tags, and details
• Print and prepare plans and shop drawings for team review
• Conduct clash detection to resolve design issues efficiently
• Collaborate with the BIM team to ensure model accuracy
• Coordinate with Project Managers to track project changes and costs
• Attend meetings with contractors and designers for effective project coordination
• Update models with project changes and RFI responses as needed
• Create detailed equipment models and as-built drawings
• Utilize Navisworks for team collaboration
• Foster strong professional relationships with contractors and clients
• Continuously improve and share BIM best practices
