Job Details Summary:
The Business Systems & Salesforce Administrator is key member of the IT Operations team who will support Salesforce administration, application support, reporting, data management, and enterprise systems operations. This role will have the proven ability to administer and configure Salesforce environments, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, queues, dashboards, and reports, while supporting integrations, release management, sandbox refreshes, and system change controls. Skilled at partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, identify enhancements, and align technical solutions with evolving business needs. Strong background in data governance, data quality, reporting, scorecards, dashboards, and Power BI analytics to drive operational insights and improve support performance. Recognized for business acumen, stakeholder collaboration, adaptability, and delivering process, automation, and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency, transparency, and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Administer and configure Salesforce, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, queues, reports, dashboards, and data management activities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance operational reporting, scorecards, dashboards, and Power BI reporting to provide actionable insights for Support leadership.
- Support release evaluations, sandbox refreshes, migrations, integrations, AppExchange tools, and system change controls to maintain platform stability and scalability.
- Partner with users, stakeholders, and leadership to gather requirements, document processes, identify enhancements, and align Salesforce capabilities to evolving business needs.
- Maintain accurate support documentation, knowledge base content, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor data quality, perform data cleanup and de-duplication, and support governance practices across Salesforce and related business systems.
- Analyze support performance data and recommend process, automation, and workflow improvements that increase efficiency, transparency, and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate across business units and technical teams to support shared systems, integrations, master data management, and service continuity.
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically requires at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Salesforce administration, systems management, application support, reporting, data management, or related technology operations.
- Experience with Salesforce development concepts, including Apex,
Visualforce, triggers, batch processes, and integrations. - Knowledge of application administration, system sustainment, data governance, reporting, and support operations in scalable enterprise environments.
- Experience translating business needs into documented requirements, system enhancements, process improvements, and measurable reporting outcomes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience with Power BI - required
- Additional knowledge with ERP platforms such as Certinia/FinancialForce, call center or support processes, community pages, and related enterprise integrations.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; experience with Salesforce configuration, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, data tools, and APIs preferred.

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
