About the RoleAs a Business Systems Analyst, you will make an impact by analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and supporting solution delivery for a Pega-based application. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and leadership teams to improve processes and ensure successful business outcomes.
In This Role, You Will- Analyze current and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Gather, document, and refine business and system requirements with stakeholders and product owners.
- Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Facilitate business discussions and support solution design involving APIs and system integrations.
- Support UAT, defect resolution, and delivery of business and functional requirements documentation.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and FRDs.
- Experience with Jira, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
These Will Help You Stand Out- Experience supporting Pega-based applications.
- Knowledge of the Pega Customer Service for Financial Services (CSFS) Framework.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and solution architecture concepts.
- Experience with data analysis and business process optimization.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management.

Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $129,500 - $152,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms.
