Business Solution Architect (Dole Fresh Fruit Company; Charlotte, NC): Function as a liaison to Business and IT partners in order to gain a broad understanding of industry trends and innovations, and their impact on technology. Cultivate a culture of collaboration and teamwork with business clients and IT. Review, analyze, evaluate ideas, projects, and opportunities to develop new products, new technologies, and business models. Collaborate across business segments to both find opportunities for and showcase ideas in the innovation and emerging business pipeline. Ensure solutions developed across organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits). Drive North American and global perspective and solution delivery. Ensure the right people are at the table to drive seamless execution across all IT delivery channels. Maintain risk awareness and identify and manage risks by providing alternative solutions, escalating when appropriate, and anticipating sensitive matters. Drive resource planning across the portfolio roadmap to ensure optimized use and effective leverage of resources. Play an integrator role across the portfolio to ensure all viewpoints are considered in order to get to the best answer. Coordinate and lead projects with the Latin America division, simplifying, expediting, and streamlining company processes, tasks, and initiatives. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Must have experience with the following:
• using modeling techniques and process flow diagrams to translate business goals and operational needs into functional and technical solutions;
• project management methodologies (PMI) and process improvement frameworks (Six Sigma) for driving structured and measurable results in technology projects;
• using quantitative analysis to evaluate project benefits, costs, and performance outcomes;
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for documentation, presentation, and data analysis to support communication and reporting across business and IT teams;
• managing risks within the solution design lifecycle;
• optimizing the use of IT resources across multiple delivery channels and initiatives; and
• managing international business relationships to deliver regional solutions.
Salary: $139,942.00 to $167,100.00 per year
