Full Job Description
The Business Resilience Manager independently owns Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management (BC/DR/CM) planning, Business Impact Assessment/Application Impact Assessment (BIA/AIA) governance, DR coordination, and crisis response coordination for significant Equifax enterprise domains, spanning multiple business functions, BUs, and geographies.

Leads cross-functional DR and CM exercises. Owns crisis communication governance for assigned scope, governing what is said, to whom, and when during active incidents and CM exercises. Governs AI-generated BIA/AIA outputs and crisis communication drafts with expert judgment. Acts as enterprise BC/DR/CM governance steward and primary CM coordination partner for business function leaders in assigned domains.

  • This position is based out of our Alpharetta, Georgia office.
  • We believe great things happen when teams connect. Our schedule is built around 4 days of high-impact, in-office collaboration (Monday-Thursday), paired with Friday Flexibility to wrap up your week remotely.
  • This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

What you will do

BC/DR/CM Planning Ownership
  • Owns and maintains BC plans and crisis management plans for significant Equifax enterprise domains, spanning business function processes and technology systems across assigned BUs and geographies. Uses AI to model cross-functional dependency scenarios and generate plan updates; validates and owns all outputs.
  • Ensures CM plans define clear activation criteria, escalation protocols, and emergency procedures for all covered functions.


BIA/AIA Governance
  • Leads BIA/AIA for assigned domains across all business functions.
  • Governs AI-generated cross-functional dependency mapping and multi-function impact models with expert judgment.
  • Ensures BIA/AIA captures both business process recovery requirements and crisis management resource requirements, and what the organization needs to coordinate, communicate, and lead during an active incident.


Crisis Response Coordination
  • Owns crisis response coordination for assigned enterprise domains during active incidents and CM exercises.
  • Governs crisis communication quality, validating AI-generated stakeholder communications for accuracy, tone, and regulatory compliance before distribution. Coordinates cross-functional stakeholder notifications.
  • Supports emergency activation for assigned functions.
  • Advises senior management on crisis escalation decisions.


DR & CM Exercise Leadership
  • Leads cross-functional DR and CM exercises for assigned enterprise domains, coordinating participants across multiple business functions, geographies, and technology teams.
  • Designs CM exercise scenarios that test human coordination, crisis communication, and leadership activation alongside technical recovery.
  • Facilitates post-exercise reviews; owns action item remediation tracking.


RTO/RPO & Crisis Timeframe Governance
  • Defines and governs Recovery Time Objective/Recovery Point Objective (RTO/RPO) for critical business processes and systems across assigned enterprise functions.
  • Validates that RTO/RPO commitments are aligned with crisis management response timeframes, the time available before crisis communication obligations activate, before regulatory notification is required, and before customer impact becomes visible.


Stakeholder Communication & Regulatory Compliance
  • Governs crisis communications for assigned scope, ensuring all communications are human-validated before distribution, even when AI-drafted.
  • Ensures BC/DR/CM compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and developing expertise in real-time regulatory notification obligations across assigned domains.


AI Fluency & BC/DR/CM Governance
  • Directs AI for enterprise BIA/AIA, cross-functional dependency analysis, crisis scenario modeling, and stakeholder communication drafting, applying expert judgment to all outputs before committing.
  • Governs AI tool use in BC/DR/CM work; mentors junior analysts on responsible AI use in both planning and crisis contexts.


What experience you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or equivalently related professional experience.
  • 5 - 7 years in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR), enterprise risk management, or business operations.
  • Cross-functional enterprise Business Impact Assessment/Application Impact Assessment (BIA/AIA) governance experience across business functions.
  • Crisis management, emergency response, or incident coordination experience.
  • Multi-domain regulatory compliance experience.
  • A strong foundation in ownership and an ability to meet all defined Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.


What could set you apart

  • Prior experience leveraging AI tools to automate processes (ie, Google Apps Script, Vertex, Gems, Gemini Notebook.)
  • Ability to develop reports and dashboards using Google Suite and AI Tools.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, French, Spanish.
