Leads multi-year investment product and service projects, applying functional expertise to drive project results.
Core Responsibilities
- Exhibits extensive knowledge of investment products within the qualified plan recordkeeping business.
- Acts as a liaison and advocate for VWS on investment products and services.
- Conducts impact analysis, recommends solutions, and resolves or escalates issues independently.
- Identifies opportunities and recommends process improvements to drive efficiency and quality.
- Manages projects or multiple workstreams within broader programs.
- Develops, implements, and monitors project plans, deliverables, and milestones.
- Contributes expertise to key project tasks and strategic initiatives.
- Provides insight on best practices and common challenges based on experience.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to align projects with company strategy and market conditions.
- Communicates project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Builds and maintains strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Fosters communication across stakeholder groups and influences key decisions.
- Identifies, manages, and mitigates project risks and issues proactively.
- Communicates solutions and gains stakeholder alignment and buy-in.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of investment products, markets, and industry workflows and infrastructure, including trade execution processes.
- Familiarity with qualified plan regulations and Vanguard VISTA recordkeeping platform preferred.
- Relevant professional experience in financial services or related function.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Financial services and function-specific experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Graduate degree preferred.
