Position Description:

Business Process Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join a growing Digital organization supporting enterprise wide transformation initiatives, including AI, Personalization, and Digital Platform programs. This individual will focus on analyzing, designing, and optimizing business and operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across cross functional teams.
Successful candidates will be comfortable diving into ambiguous, complex workflows, translating business needs into clear process improvements, and partnering with both business and technical stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.

This role is located in Dallas, TX.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Analyze current state business processes across Digital programs (AI, Personalization, Digital Platform) to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
. Design and document future state processes, including process maps, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures
. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to drive measurable efficiency and quality gains
. Partner with Program and Project Managers to align process design with program goals and delivery timelines
. Facilitate process workshops and working sessions with cross functional stakeholders (Product, Technology, Customer Experience, Marketing, Finance, Data)
. Define and track process performance metrics/KPIs to measure the impact of process changes
. Identify opportunities for automation and process standardization across Digital programs
. Support change management efforts tied to new or revised processes, including training and documentation
. Conduct root cause analysis on recurring operational issues and recommend corrective actions
. Maintain a repository of process documentation and ensure processes stay current as programs evolve

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 5+ years of experience in process engineering, business process improvement, or operational excellence roles
. Demonstrated experience with process mapping and workflow design tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN)
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable documentation
. Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement frameworks
. Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading cross functional workshops and working sessions
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to varying audiences
. Experience defining and tracking process performance metrics/KPIs
. Ability to work independently in a fast paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred
. Telecommunications industry experience preferred
. Experience supporting Digital, AI, Personalization, or Digital Platform transformation initiatives
. Experience working within a PMO or Transformation Office
. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
. Experience with process automation or workflow tools (e.g., RPA platforms, low code workflow tools)

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys untangling complex, ambiguous processes and turning them into clear, efficient workflows. One day may involve mapping a current state process for a Personalization initiative, another may require facilitating a workshop to redesign an intake process for the Digital Platform team, or building a KPI dashboard to track process improvements across AI programs.
This individual should be equally comfortable:

. Analyzing and redesigning business processes end to end
. Facilitating cross functional workshops and driving alignment
. Communicating process recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders
. Managing multiple process improvement initiatives simultaneously

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $123,800.00.
