Business Operations Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experience or Senior Business Operations Specialist to join the Seat Integration Business Operations team in Everett, Washington.

The ideal candidate is responsible for implementing a robust management system and key performance indicators that enable the execution of BCA seat programs. This role will partner with leadership to clarify organizational priorities and strategy, improve communication, and strengthen Program Management Best Practices. This position will also require strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to facilitate the successful delivery of projects and maintain alignment with organizational objectives.

This role is essential for ensuring that organization remains integrated across Engineering, Supply Chain, BCA Airplane Programs, Customers, Suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders and

requires the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships, while providing the structure required to enable the achievement of business priorities.

Successful candidates are natural self-starters who are agile with the ability to quickly adapt strategies, plans, and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our Seat Integration Team (SIT) team to lead the development, implementation, and improvement of the management system
  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of the organization
  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
  • Leads the development of organizational metrics and Key Performance Indicators for the SIT organization
  • Improve organizational integration and visibility through a robust communication plan and integration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with executives, senior managers, and program liaisons to shape and compile critical supplier, program, customer, and leadership presentations or messaging


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 4: 8+ years of experience in project or program management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience performing in a business operations, program management, engineering, supply chain, scheduling, change management, strategy, business support services, or project management role
  • 3+ years of experience working across multiple programs and/or functions
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals.
  • Experience integrating or project managing across multiple Boeing divisions
