About the Role:We are hiring a Business Operations Associate to work directly with the Vice President of Operations and the broader executive team to build our fast-growing Public Sector team. At this stage, the biggest accelerant to the Public Sector's success is not technology or customer demand - it's execution and coordination at scale.
This is a high-impact, generalist role at the center of our Public Sector business. You will own priorities on behalf of the executive team, translate leadership decisions into action, and build the internal structure needed to scale.
The role combines strategy, business operations, and special projects. This is an ideal role for someone in the first decade of their career who aims to grow into a chief-of-staff or leadership role in operations, strategy, or general management. You would receive direct mentorship and coaching from a blended team of former McKinsey consultants, technology leader, and government leaders.
Responsibilities:- Own the execution of high-priority special projects across the growth, product, operations, delivery, and engineering functions.
- Translate leadership direction into clear workstreams, then track progress against goals, surface risks early, and help teams stay on track.
- Help run core operating cadences, including weekly reviews, leadership syncs, and planning cycles.
- Develop the strategy-setting insights and analytics that drive key decisions across the leadership team and its stakeholders.
- Identify gaps in existing systems and implement lightweight, scalable solutions.
Qualifications:- 3-6+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or similar generalist roles.
- Demonstrated interest in the national security community, public sector organizations, and / or mission-driven technology.
- High ownership mindset and capacity to operate in ambiguity.
- Creative and gritty problem-solving skills, with the analytic ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with an executive audience in mind.
Preferred Skills:- Startup experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with AI / tech companies.
- Technical background (academic or work experience).
