Role OverviewOracle Business Planning & Operations is seeking an experienced
Business Operations Analyst to partner closely with the AI Infrastructure Sales and Strategic Customer Operations team in the OCI organization.
This role sits at the intersection of business operations, program management, and executive decision support. The successful candidate will bring the analytical discipline of a Business Operations Analyst together with the ownership, influence, and execution skills of an experienced Program Manager.
Success in this role requires someone who can take ownership in an environment where processes, data, and operating mechanisms may still be evolving; bring structure to ambiguity; identify meaningful insights from operational data; and translate those insights into clear recommendations and actions for senior and executive leaders.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operator who is comfortable moving between detailed operational work and executive-level conversations. They can establish credibility with technical and business stakeholders, challenge existing processes constructively, drive cross-functional change, and create mechanisms that help leadership make better and faster decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner closely with executive leadership and senior stakeholders to provide clear, concise, and actionable insights that support business decisions.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, operating reviews, analyses, and recommendations that translate complex information into clear business implications and actions.
- Own and drive cross-functional programs from problem definition through execution, establishing objectives, milestones, dependencies, stakeholders, and measures of success.
- Identify fragmented, inconsistent, or underdeveloped operational processes and lead efforts to establish scalable, repeatable operating mechanisms.
- Manage, maintain, and analyze operational and business data, ensuring leaders have meaningful information from which to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
- Translate data into a clear narrative, distinguishing meaningful business signals from reporting noise and identifying the implications for leadership.
- Develop and maintain reporting and operating mechanisms that provide visibility into areas such as business operations, infrastructure demand, consumption, capacity, resources, and business performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, HR, Finance, and other stakeholder organizations to align priorities, planning assumptions, demand signals, and execution.
- Support resource and workforce planning activities, including headcount planning, resource allocation, and analysis that enables leadership decision-making.
- Improve the quality, consistency, and usability of operational data and reporting while recognizing that source data and processes may not always be complete or mature.
- Establish credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence outcomes without relying on direct authority.
- Adapt quickly as business priorities, organizational needs, and operating conditions change.
ResponsibilitiesRequired Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in business operations, program management, business analysis, engineering operations, strategy and operations, or a related function within a complex organization.
- Demonstrated experience directly with senior and executive leadership, including developing and presenting executive-level insights, recommendations, operating reviews, or decision materials.
- Knowledge of cloud products, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale technology environments.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, dependencies, and evolving requirements.
- Demonstrated experience identifying gaps in existing processes and successfully driving process improvement and organizational change.
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to maintain, interpret, and synthesize operational or business data into meaningful, actionable outcomes.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to operate effectively when processes, requirements, ownership, or available data are incomplete or ambiguous.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel or comparable tools for business analysis, modeling, reporting, and data management.
- Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex information and communicate a clear narrative to leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and program-management skills, including the ability to establish structure, manage competing priorities, and drive work through completion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in cloud infrastructure, cloud products, hyperscale technology, or another large-scale technical environment.
- Understanding of cloud business models, infrastructure capacity, consumption, resource planning, or engineering operations.
- Experience supporting business planning, operational reviews, workforce planning, capacity planning, or resource allocation.
- Experience creating dashboards or data visualizations using Oracle Analytics or comparable business intelligence tools.
- Experience working with large or imperfect datasets and establishing processes that improve data quality, consistency, and decision usefulness.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, high-performance computing, or other emerging infrastructure workloads is beneficial.

QualificationsUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $75,000 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
