Sony Canada ULC is looking for an experienced Business Manager to achieve organizational goals by managing day-to-day business progress. Concurrently, this person will manage Interchangeable Lens Cameras and Accessories products as well as the key sales channel partners for this product category, that are critical for the Imaging Solutions business unit to generate recurring sales and profit.
Ultimately, the Business Manager will be responsible for maintaining successful daily business practices and ushering in a new era of growth.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness Management
- Drive PDCA cycle together with the leadership team to achieve organizational goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Closely work with the Imaging Solutions Business Planner who manages product incomings, shipments, and allocations, and assisting in monitoring the sales progress of each month.
- Collect and analyze long-term sales and market research data to define yearly fiscal business targets.
- Preparation & presentation of key topics at business review and planning meetings with Japan HQ.
- Internal operational support across departments to maintain business continuity.
Sales & Product Management
- Consistent communication with Account Managers and channel partners for sales progress, current and future forecasts, and market trends.
- Assisting with inquiries such as, product inquiries, marketing assets, delivery updates / issues, market development funds etc.
- Updating Marketing materials and sales tools as related to Imaging Solutions category.
- Plan, co-ordinate and implement sales promotions to drive the business.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's Degree with a specialization in Marketing, Business or MBA preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a business management or similar role
- Experience in developing business strategy
- Strong ability with financial and budgetary processes.
- Superior leadership skills, with focus on analytics, process improvement, and development of continued business practices.
- Experience in forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain.
- Strong ability with database and information systems software.
- SAP (BW & PRP)
- Power Bi
- Microsoft Suite of Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access)
- Strong presentation skills, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $85,467 to $113,955. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical (vision care) and dental benefits, life insurance, paid disability leave, defined contribution pension plan with company matching, vacation time, tuition reimbursement, paid sick leave time annually.
