SUMMARY

This position will support the Asset Liability Management (ALM) business unit, focusing on balance sheet forecasting, interest rate risk measurement and forecasting, and reporting through business line and corporate level committees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supporting the business line to comply with internal risk programs, policies, and regulatory guidance.

- Monitoring the program for proposed changes to translate through a risk-focused lens and assist in designing new control structures relevant to the changes.

- Serve as a trusted advisor in strategic initiatives to identify future risk profile changes and consult on approaches to absorb / measure/ limit risk.

- Support the business through internal reviews, audits, and exams

- Assist in scoping and remediating any identified weaknesses or issues with regard to risk policies and program requirements.

Additional responsibilities for this position include:

Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business, specifically:

< Interagency Policy Statement on Funding & Liquidity Risk management (SR 10-6).

< Enhanced Prudential Standards (Reg YY).

< Liquidity Coverage Ratio.

< Net Stable Funding Ratio.

< Interest rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB).

< FR 2052a Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report.
- Considerable understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.
- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills.
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations.
- Applicable professional certifications.

LOCATION EXPECTATIONS

- This role requires working onsite from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
