Your role

As the Bussiness Line Manager of VSC, you will lead the sales organization, setting the global account strategy for critical customer accounts and drive the sales channels and supporting infrastructure to establish a world leading position for the Edwards brand in the North America region. The role holder will contribute to the growth and capability development of the North America Customer Center and the strategic goals of the Semiconductor Chambers Solutions Division and Vacuum Technique Business Area. You will report to the General Manager of the Edwards North America Customer Center.

You will:
• Be responsible for the Profit and Loss and the Balance Sheet of the business line in the region
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, aligned to the divisional strategy, to build and reinforce target market share and profitability
• Drive market share growth year on year
• Drive business with new products and assure that the new products are immediately introduced and sold by the sales teams
• Develop satisfied customers that allow us to do sustainable business and to fulfil our mission to be first in mind and first in choice in the US market
• Preparation and achievement of business line sales budget
• Prioritize customers/sectors for sales focus in agreement with Division & CC GM
• Co-ordination of activities between business line sales & marketing and Service business line
• Sales support, product training & supervision of distributor accounts
• Enhance market coverage through direct sales expansion and through development of a trustworthy and performing distributor network
• Ownership of the Opportunity funnel objectives and / or Territory Action Plans for the sector
• Develop the business line within the defined business territory, with the objective of giving all products the best chance in the market
• Develop the sales channels, direct and indirect, in line with revenues and always consider the cost-efficiency targets of the business unit in the region.
• Lead, develop and motivate an experienced team and support them in the region towards continuous success
• Management of the Regional Applications, Product and Market Sector Management function in terms of delivering a differentiated technology and solutions strategy
• Drive cross-selling and close collaboration with other Business Line Managers within the NACC.
• Screen the market for acquisition opportunities that allow us to significantly increase our market share in, accordingly work with the division on developing the business case, negotiations and possibly post-merger activities.

You have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent working experience, experience leading, developing and managing a team of sales managers and a strong background in the semi industry (particularly, within the semi equipment manufacturing space) or a relevant market. We are also looking for the successful candidate to have:
• Proven track record in sales and marketing
• High commercial and technical experience
• Possession of business and financial acumen
• Strategic and conceptual capability to lead and develop a regional business
• Dynamic with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written English required

Job location

This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from your home base within the U.S. We value results over location and provide the tools and support you need to succeed from any location.

Salary is based on selected candidate's location average. Final salary may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, job-related skills, internal peer equity, etc.
