Rock Processing, Mobile Crushing & Screening Solutions is looking for a Business Line Manager (BLM) - Mobile Crushers & Screens

Business area Rock Processing is a global leading supplier of equipment, tools, parts, service and solutions for processing rock and minerals in the mining and construction industries. The focus lies on bringing value to customers through high-performing products that increase productivity and safety.

Our breaking, crushing and screening equipment is engineered for maximum productivity. We offer advanced, proven solutions for any size-reduction and classification challenges - whether it is stationary or mobile.

This role can be located in any location, USA

This leadership role plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team within the geography of North America to achieve established sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategy and profitable growth
  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with the Mobiles Division and Sales Area strategies.
  • Deliver agreed sales, order intake, revenue, market share and profitability objectives for both equipment and aftermarket.
  • Identify market opportunities, growth segments, account priorities and routes to market, and convert them into focused commercial actions.
  • Build commercial proposals and winning strategies for new and existing customer opportunities, applying value-based selling.
  • Promote appropriate financing solutions where they strengthen the customer value proposition.
Customer and distributor leadership
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers, dealers and distributors.
  • Lead performance dialogue with distributor accounts, including business planning, pipeline, inventory, capability, coverage and corrective actions.
  • Communicate the total Mobiles offering and connect customer needs with equipment, aftermarket, service, training and digital solutions.
  • Expand market presence through direct customer engagement, local events, trade shows and coordinated account activity.
  • Ensure consistent customer engagement across the broader Sales Area offering in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.


Commercial execution and forecasting
  • Own the territory forecast and drive delivery of monthly and annual commercial commitments.
  • Monitor account and opportunity performance against plan, identify gaps early and take decisive corrective action.
  • Maintain high-quality opportunity, pipeline and customer data in the approved CRM and commercial tools.
  • Apply sound financial judgment to pricing, deal structure, risk and profitability.
  • Work closely with Commercial Operations, Finance, Business Control, Legal and Supply to support compliant and timely execution.
Equipment, aftermarket and installed base development
  • Drive growth across the full lifecycle, with clear focus on equipment sales, installed base expansion and aftermarket capture.
  • Coordinate with aftermarket, service and training teams to strengthen customer support and local capability.
  • Promote appropriate inventory planning across the territory to improve availability, lead times and aftermarket performance.
  • Use market and customer insights to support portfolio development and maintain strong working relationships with Product Management.
Continuous improvement and collaboration
§Identify and implement opportunities to improve sales efficiency, customer experience and market positioning.
  • Share market intelligence, competitor insights and customer feedback through internal and external networks to inform go-to-market decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Area teams, the Mobiles Division, Product Management, Supply, Marketing and other relevant functions.
  • Lead change constructively and maintain clear accountability for agreed actions and outcomes.
People leadership
  • Set clear goals and expectations for direct and dotted-line contributors supporting the business line.
  • Coach, develop and engage the team, encouraging collaboration, ownership and high performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related field plus minimum 5 years experience in sales roles or total experience of 10 years in sales in aftermarket products
  • 2 years in leadership/managerial role
  • Demonstrated experience in key account management, sales, business development or commercial leadership in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in the mining, aggregates, construction or adjacent capital-equipment industry.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with dealers, distributors and end customers.
  • Experience managing high-value accounts, complex opportunities and technical-commercial discussions.
  • Strong financial and commercial understanding, including pricing, margin and deal profitability.
  • Experience working effectively across functions and within a matrix organization.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in roles such as a Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager having sold aftermarket products
  • Proven sales experience - successfully developing customer relationship to demonstrate sales/revenue growth year on year
  • It is essential applicants demonstrate experience in each of these activities:
    • Sales forecasting
    • Demand planning
    • Reporting such as sales, tracking opportunities, follow-up, new enquiry ratios
    • Utilizing tools such as an ERP system


Licenses & Certifications

Valid drivers license in good standing

Passport

Readiness for frequent travel, including customer sites and distributor locations. Travel is expected to be approximately 50%, subject to territory needs.

Ability to work safely in customer, quarry, construction and mining environments in accordance with applicable requirements.

Compensation Range: $180,000 to $220,000 plus bonus
