Job Summary

The Business Intelligence - Senior Analyst designs, develops, and maintains scalable BI solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights for Finance and Operations stakeholders. This role partners with Strategic Finance Advisors, Forecast Operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and visually compelling reporting through Power BI, Power Automate, and Python-based analytics. The Senior BI Analyst drives continuous improvement in data quality, process automation, and self-service reporting capabilities across the organization.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Designs, builds, and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports, including data models, DAX measures, and automated refresh schedules to support monthly close, forecasting, and operational reporting needs
  • Develops and maintains Power Automate workflows to streamline data collection, report distribution, and recurring Finance Operations processes, reducing manual effort and improving cycle time
  • Builds and maintains Python scripts and pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from ERP, cloud, and other enterprise data sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Partners with Finance Advisors, FP&A, and Operations teams to gather requirements, identify root causes of data quality issues, and deliver self-service analytics solutions that improve decision-making
  • Prepares BI-driven content for Finance presentations, supports ad hoc analytical requests, and documents data definitions, report logic, and process standards


Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance preferred
  • 4+ years experience in BI development, data analytics, or FP&A roles in mid-size or large organizations
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Python in a corporate environment preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M language)
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and process integration
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, ETL development, and analytics (pandas, numpy, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to manage data accuracy, completeness, and governance across multiple data sources and platforms
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms, SQL, and cloud data environments (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, or similar)

The range for this position is $83,000 to $164,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant's experience and geographic location.
