Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence Manager leads the development and delivery of enterprise-wide reporting and analytics capabilities. This role is responsible for overseeing the Business Intelligence team, driving a unified reporting strategy, ensuring data integrity across dashboards and reports, and building scalable analytics solutions aligned with business priorities. This is a people leader and strategic contributor role, partnering closely with operations, finance, and executive stakeholders to advance a data-informed culture.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise reports and dashboards that enable real-time operational decision-making
- Manages and mentors BI team members, including analysts and junior analysts, providing direction on priorities, quality, and professional development
- Establishes and enforces reporting standards, data definitions, and governance practices to ensure consistency and reliability across the organization
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders; including operations, finance, and project management; to understand data needs and translate them into scalable analytics solutions
- Drives continuous improvement in data quality, report accuracy, and delivery efficiency
- Owns the BI roadmap for reporting and analytics, aligning deliverables with organizational goals and communicating progress to leadership
- Evaluates and implements BI tools, visualization best practices, and reporting frameworks to support a maturing analytics function
- Ensures field data collection practices support accurate and useful reporting outcomes, collaborating with operations to close gaps
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related function; 2+ years in a team lead or management capacity
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard development
- Strong understanding of relational databases and enterprise data sources
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Experience working in or with construction, field operations, or project-based industries a plus
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, lead a team, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
Compensation: $150,000 to $175,000 annually
