NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY
TITLE: Business Intelligence Engineer (4)
Work closely with stakeholders in Engineering, Finance, Operations and other teams to design, implement and support key datasets that provide timely access to key business metrics. Collaborate with Fintech team and teams across the Finance organization to help build the Financial Data warehouse and build reports to support automation and growth needs. Partner with non-technical customers to capture business needs and condense them into technical requirements for metrics or analytics-based projects. Deliver projects/data-pipelines that allow non-technical end-customers to self-serve. Orchestrate ETL Pipelines using Airflow and BigQuery. Deliver performant reporting datasets consumed through our visualization portals. Build reporting tools to facilitate consumption consistency across teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative field plus three (3) years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer or closely related experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge and/or experience in:
• Experience in building data pipelines to serve reporting needs.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency with Python or R for data analysis, data visualization, data manipulation / transformation, and automation tasks.
• Development experience in at least one object-oriented or scripting language: Python, Java or Scala.
• Experience with Google BigQuery.
• Experience with Airflow.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
