Position: BI Developer / AnalystPosition Overview:The BI Developer / Analyst is responsible for creating and managing business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a strong background in data and business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. The position works closely with cross-functional teams and applies strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to support informed decision-making.
Major Responsibilities:- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build, deploy, and support BI solutions
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems with ERP
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
Requirements and Skills:- Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst
- Industry experience is a must
- Background in data warehouse design and data mining
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, or other BI solutions)
- Strong skills in SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- CPG experience is an asset
