Accountabilities- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Business Intelligence Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
- Translate high level solutions into high quality technical artefacts.
- Support the business in delivering its strategic objectives within the constraints of a regulatory environment.
- Develop Reports and Dashboards for an enterprise-class distributed, micro-service & cloud-based application.
- Develop Reports and Dashboards in Business Objects, Qlik View, Qlik Sense and print in line with business requirements.
- Actively organize or participate in meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and plan solutions.
- Contribute to the definition of data development standards, design patterns and techniques.
- Comply with the adoption of Scaled Agile techniques and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Produce detailed technical specifications and deliver to committed timescales.
- Ensure quality and agility are present through adoption of continuous integration, test, behavioral driven testing and automated deployment.
- Perform design and code reviews for the development team.
- May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]
Minimum Salary: $103,210 per year
Maximum Salary: $135,000 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
