The Business Intelligence Analyst II will join the Analytics team and serve as a key partner in advancing research analytics through data-driven insights.

Role Overview- Partner with research, operational, and analytics stakeholders to understand business needs and translate complex, ambiguous requests into scalable analytical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations with a strong emphasis on Power BI.
- Leverage SQL extensively to extract, analyze, validate, and transform data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Develop meaningful metrics, key performance indicators, and reporting frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support research objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to governance standards.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and actionable manner.
- Support the enhancement of analytics infrastructure, reporting processes, and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted analytics partner, proactively identifying opportunities to improve data accessibility, reporting effectiveness, and insight generation.
Key Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or a related data-focused role.
- Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining analytical and reporting solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience building dashboards and data visualizations, with Power BI experience required.
- Tableau experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working with relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data transformation processes.
- Experience with dbt (data build tool) is highly preferred.
- Exposure to Epic Cogito tools and the broader Cogito reporting suite is a plus.

Additional Information: - Schedule: Hybrid 3-4 x a month on site with flexibility as needed; 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
