Full Job Description
This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Business Intelligence Analyst II provides operational and financial analysis to PSC operational units and senior leadership. As a part of the Financial Reporting team, this person will be responsible to move, integrate, and transform data into business insights.

What you will do in this role:

  • Collaborate with Database Administrators, Architecture, and Operational leadership teams
  • Proficient in various databases using SQL programming to perform queries related to report and dashboard creation at scale
  • Analyze business needs to produce valuable insights
  • Prepares on-demand analytics and ad-hoc reports
  • Design and develop Reports from Data Warehouse using BI tools
  • Function as a domain expert the for Physician Revenue Cycle data warehouse
  • Expertise in building various reports and dashboards using business intelligence platforms, such as MS Excel, MicroStrategy and Power BI
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity through data discovery
  • Accurately interpret business requirements and translate into actionable data visualizations
  • Leads the process of eliciting and documenting business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. Creates assigned/appropriate deliverables as a part of assigned projects or ad hoc development assignments
  • Effectively communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Create and prepare presentations or reports for PSC senior leadership team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in order to support the goals of the PSC
  • Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals


What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum five years' experience in related area preferred with two of these years being in healthcare
