What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for information technology programs for our national security and federal law enforcement clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports

  • Analyze and interpret business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources.

  • Identify and analyze trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions

  • Contribute to reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems

  • Communicate findings and insight to peers and mid-level management

  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements

  • Collaborate with team members and participate in team projects and initiatives

  • Utilize Power BI and other analytic tools for data visualization and business intelligence (BI)

  • Deliver client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

  • B.S. or B.A. in a quantitative field (e.g., business, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science) with TWO (2) years of relevant professional experience

  • Intermediate proficiency in Power BI dashboard development

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to manage multi-task projects

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work 100% on site


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience documenting requirements, creating functional specifications, technical user guides, and preparing wireframes/flowcharts

  • Experience with HR data analytics and reporting.

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail

  • Ability to manage multi-task projects

  • Knowledge and experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
