Job Description:Business Information Consultant - Post-Acute Solutions SupportLocation: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The
Business Information Consultant is responsible for serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting and formulating recommendations, and providing guidance to other data analysts.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Performs established analysis for routine diagnoses of quality, use, cost and other variables for opportunity assessments.
- Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
- Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
- Executes identification and stratification algorithm to select the right members for the targeted solution.
- Basic knowledge of common analytical methods such as profiling a customer segment, experimental design and regression analysis.
- Provides analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership, or external customers.
- Data analysis and reporting encompasses a much higher level of complexity.
Minimum Requirements:- Requires a BS/BA degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, & Experiences:- Working experience with Python/R or equivalents analytical tools, Teradata, SQL, Snowflake or equivalent database tools, and direct experience applying statistical/analytical tools to solve research/practical problems.
- Substantial analytical experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
- Familiarity with medical management or population health programs and strong understanding of actuarial principles and managed care operations preferred.
- Possess working knowledge of healthcare data and measurement standards such as ICD10, CPT/HCPCS, MS-DRG, DxCG, PMPM, and utilization per 1,000, preferred.
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to present meaningful results to a business audience, to participate collaboratively in a team tasked to produce complex analyses on a rigorous schedule, to communicate with strong written and verbal communications skills, and to present to large multi-disciplinary audiences on a regular basis strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to design modeling studies and experience with data models, addressing data quality issues in study design, constructing robust and efficient analytical data sets strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $96,264 to $151,272
