OverviewWe need a Business Financial Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.
Responsibilities
The candidate shall provide business and financial management support the Frigate Program's Business Financial Manager in the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the new class of Frigate. Efforts may include the following:
- Assist in the Government's preparation of SCN, RDT&E and OMN Budgets. Assist in the development and review of budget backup documentation to support production, delivery schedules, and milestones.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and defense of the annual Execution Reviews including a detailed re-evaluation of budget estimates and Estimates at Completion.
- Prepare various exhibits, briefings, and presentations. Utilize data analytics to create financial dashboards depicting program status.
- Conduct analyses, report financial risk, and advise the Government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk on the program.
- Assist the Government with statutory and regulatory financial reporting. Use the latest software or web-enabled process to complete these reports. Maintain all backup documentation and related documents. Maintain records of financial history and related documents.
- Research and prepare inputs to various financial issues that confront the Program office. Assist financial, auditing, and budgeting analysis and document preparations and reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years' experience in financial analysis (Preferred)
- Experiece using Microsoft Power BI (Required)
- Navy ERP Experience (Required)
- EVM Professional Certification or equivalent (i.e. DAU BFM Lvl II or DAU Business Estimating Lvl II) (Preferred)
